One More Reason I Love Florida

I am just a little Florida girl. I never in my life expected to see so much snow. I had never seen a snow shovel, much less used one. But there were 18 inches at my house in Virginia and over 24 in Maryland. I only know about the snow in Maryland because I was stuck there, house/puppy/cat and fish sitting from Friday until Monday. I have to admit the snow was a beautiful sight, when I was indoors by the fire. And the puppy was only 10 weeks old and was quite cute. But the pretty snow and the pretty dog became a little overwhelming after a few days of not leaving someone else's house.
But I did make it back home to VA to see that my road was no where near plowed and that just beacause I have an SUV, people assume it has 4 wheel drive and can go over anything. This is not the case and I spent most of my time trying not to get stuck in the snow and angry at drivers of small cars.
The really nice thing is that I have not had to intern in a few days. With the schools closed, I have been free. This is good as whatever has been going around seems to have made its way here.
